As we continue to grow as a scale-up company, we are looking for a Head of Finance to join our management team, to lead and oversee our financials strategically, tactically, and operationally.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Manage all aspects of corporate / financial / accounting functions, inclusive of capital raising, financial planning, budgetary controls, treasury management, and tax planning
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including audit, tax matters, and any other corporate governance
• Establish operational budgets and manage company cashflow to ensure the set goals are achieved and cost objectives are met
• Oversee cashflow projections of the company, and to control collections and payment schedules
• Manage and review audited accounts and to ensure all audit findings points are promptly resolved
• Assist the executive leadership in fundraising and due diligence activities

What We’d Like to See in the Candidate

• Tertiary qualification in business, banking, finance, accounting and/ investment
• At least 7 years of work experience in the banking, finance, accounting, and/or investment fields
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation
• The ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Results-driven, responsible, and dependable, with a strong sense of urgency
• Added Advantage: Professional accounting / finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICEAW)
• Added Advantage: Working experience with VC/PE-backed companies
• Added Advantage: M&A and/or IPO experience
